Muslin underdress

This is a bleached muslin under dress. Under dresses were worn for warmth and modesty. This one features white cluny lace with a slate blue gros grain ribbon through the middle. It has a gathered skirt attached to a high yoke and a three-button back.

  1. Love this one too... looks so fresh and crisp... I know it is an underdress but it looks great as a dress too.

I have to say it again, beautiful sewing job.

    Hugs, Deb

  2. Thank you :) Yes, this could be worn as a dress, like I think of a Confirmation or something for a young child. It also has matching pantaloons available. Both are at my Hannah webstore, http://www.homespunhannah.com
You are so kind, thank you.
