Pink gingham peasant blouse

Well good morning to you all. Pictured above is a peasant blouse with my own creation, the ice cream cone applique. This blouse is McCall's 6313. That versatile pattern includes a blouse, dress, peasant blouse, and leg ruffle pieces. My take on the peasant blouse was just a way to make this one not look like others. The fabric is 100% cotton in a micro-checked gingham in pink and white. The darling little denim cargo shorts were store-bought. I just added the little pink ribbons to each pocket flap.
