Winter Pin Keep Swap goodies!

Good morning to you all. Recently I participated in the Winter Pin Keep Swap at: Ravenwood Whimzies. Pictured above is the festive pin keep that my partner Wendy (who hosted this Swap) made and sent. The mouse sits atop of a red box that opens for storage. A pocket on his back holds a lovely pair of gold-handled scissors. Beside the mouse sits a pine tree and a little green pin keep with star-topped pins. The box label reads: Not a Creature was stirring, Not even a mouse.... Wendy also sent two red kitchen towels, a wood-framed Holly Jolly Christmas stitchery, a book of holiday recipes, and a box of yummy Andes© Peppermint Crunch Thins candy. Wow, am I spoiled, lol! 'Will cherish these items always. Thank you so much, Wendy. These Swaps are always so much fun. Be sure to go visit and follow Wendy's awesome blog. To see the pin keep and other goodies that I made for Wendy, please continue reading.

Here is the pin keep that I made for my partner, Wendy. It is made of dark green and burgundy corduroy fabrics, and a black crow sits atop wearing his warm winter knit cap. He also wears a green homespun scarf adorned with a rusty safety pin and bell and a red glass ornament. The pin keep rests in an old rusty Ball® jar lid surrounded with holly and red berries. A little snowman ornie/tuck, a bundle of 3 prim clothespins, and some cinnamon spice potpourri were also sent along with this pin keep as "extra goodies". Sending many thanks to my partner, our Swap hostess Wendy of Ravenwood Whimzies. Pin keeps are absolutely one of my favorite collectibles. They are pretty plus useful. How much fun this Swap was! Prim Autumn blessings.

Both pinkeeps are simply wonderful! The scissor pocket on the mouse is quite clever. What a cutie with all his accessories. I adore the crow you made and love the look of the corduroy as a pinkeep. ~Jessica
