Simplicity 1568A: girl's jumper pattern

'Hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Pictured above is an adorable jumper for my granddaughter. The pattern is Simplicity 1568A. This view features red fabric flowers along the lower area, and a banded hem of contrasting fabric. This one is made of fabrics that are very similar to the pattern's sample. The light blue and red are really en vogue and just too cute. The light blue cotton fabric is Kona's Candy Blue. This pattern requires a bit of hand work, for the flowers and their embroidered stems. The bodice is lined, and there are 2 buttonholes required for fasteners. Please continue reading.

This pattern is absolutely one of my favorites. The red cotton fabric chosen for the flowers is a true, deep shade. The white with red polka dots is the perfect compliment, isn't it? The hair bow features a center knot. Happy sewing wishes to you. Although there is a lined bodice and some hand stitching, this pattern will receive a difficulty rating of:

Fairly Easy

Blessings, Danice G.

What a cute blog you have! It's so nice to see someone sewing! I'm a quilter so I don't sew too often anymore. Enjoyed reading your past blogs.
