Year of the Rooster Challenge

Recently, I participated in a quilt challenge hosted by: Two Thimbles Quilt Shop. It is titled Year of the Rooster, in accordance with the Chinese calendar. The quilts will be shown at an upcoming show in Washington state, and the people who cannot attend can mail photos of their completed quilt. Here is mine! It finished at approx. 23 3/4" square. The rooster appliqué is designed by Sindy Rodenmayer at: Fat Cat Patterns. My little quilt is machine pieced and quilted, with allover meandering stitching. The batting is Warm N' Natural©. Want to see the backing? Please continue reading.

Here is the back of my Year of the Rooster little quilt. See my label in the lower left corner? There is also a hanging pocket across the top back. This challenge was super fun. Sending many thanks to the folks at Two Thimbles Quilt Shop.

Blessings, Danice G.
