Exploding Stars quilt top completed!

Good morning to all. Finally, pictured here, is my completed quilt top Exploding Stars. This pattern is from the Stunning Stars QAL that Sarah hosted at: Confessions of a Fabric Addict: Exploding Stars back in February. Thank you Sarah for this awesome pattern. It is now 64" square, and is sewn of 100% cotton fabrics from my stash. The background is a medium grey. This project is also my entry for the Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal Finish for May. Be sure to visit both blogs for some wonderful quilts and quilting tips. See all of the One Monthly Goal finishes for May at the link party. Prim blessings.

I love how that turned out, Danice! I remember seeing that one on her blog back in February, and I really liked the pattern. I really like it in all solids.

I like STARS Quilts. That Grey looks more Taupe in the picture. Glad you got your OMG done in time to Link Up!

Woo hoo, thank you all! This pattern was a bit difficult for me, but so worth it all. Yes, the grey does appear taupe is why I mentioned the color.'Did not want to take this outdoors (rainy) for a photo, so the indoor lighting affected the coloring. Taupe would also have looked as good as grey.

The solid colors really show your straight seams and pointy points. Well done!

Thank you Esther. Using solid colors intimidates me a bit, b/c they will show the slightest imperfection. Luckily, this project is turning out OK :)
