Rin QAL: starting another block

Slowly but surely advancing on the Rin QAL hosted by: Hyacinth Quilt Designs and: Meadow Mist Designs. Pattern designer: Carolyn Friedlander. I have decided to work towards completing all four of the hand-turned appliqued blocks, instead of just one at a time. Learning patience, my Word for 2017, lol. Stay tuned to see more progress on this quilt. Hoping to start block number four very soon.

"Rin" is an unusual name for a quilt pattern. I checked out what the quilt pattern looks like. An interesting design. The blocks must be close to twenty inches square.

Yes, Rin is an unusual name. It is the name of an ornate Japanese coin. The blocks are quite large, finishing at 19 1/2" square each. The design has definitely caught my eye.
