One Monthly Goal Finish: September 2018

Yay! I made my One Monthly Goal for September. Here are twelve of The Splendid Sampler 2 blocks, sewn into rows. The top border is also sewn on. This will be a small quilt, made from my scrap stash. Paper piecing is something that I definitely need more experience with, and some of these blocks are providing that. It's about time to start learning, right? Be sure to visit the One Monthly Goal Finish link party to see everyone's beautiful work. Quilting blessings to you all.

CIL: I Spy quilt blocks

These are three I Spy quilt blocks for the bi-monthly charity block drive at: Kat and Cat Quilts blog. Kat is the founder of Covered in Love, an organization that donates quilts to terminally ill patients and their families. This month's theme is grown-up I Spy blocks, with a red, navy or gold-colored sub-block in each block. This is a cause that I do enjoy helping at every possible chance. It is a wonderful feeling to help other people, isn't it? September is also National Sewing Month. Have you been sewing?

One Monthly Goal: September 2018

These five little quilt blocks are part of Pat Sloan and Jane Davidson's The Splendid Sampler 2™ quilt-along. There are two new blocks weekly . So far, eleven blocks have been released, and I do still lack making several of them. My One Monthly Goal for September is to get those blocks made and get all eleven sewn into rows. Part 1 was tons of fun, and so is part 2. Are you joining-in on this fun event?
