More gifts for Jack's Basket

These are the additional gifts that I sent to: Jack's Basket, a 501(c) nonprofit organization concerned with babies affected by Down Syndrome. Four baby-safe newborn pacifiers and three fleece caps were included with the flannel baby quilt (see it here: Giraffe quilt). It was all done for the annual Hands 2 Help Comfort Quilt Challenge, hosted by Sarah of: Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Feeling good that many babies and their families will be helped by all of the gifts that everyone has sent.

Win from Hand-Pieced Quilt-Along

Recently, I participated in the Hand-Pieced QAL at: Elm Street Quilts. Guess what... I won two packs of Aurifil™ thread! The small pack is called Calm, and is four spools of 80wt. The colors are: one white, two beige, and two shades of grey. The large pack is Necessities 50wt., and is four spools: one white, one beige, and two shades of grey. All perfect neutral colors, aren't they? Also included is a handy guide to the thread weights' uses. Sending many thanks to Patty of Elm Street Quilts and Aurifil™ for these wonderful prizes. Happy sewing and quilting to you all.

Modern Mini Quilt Challenge: finished!

Yay! Here is my mini quilt for the: Modern Mini Quilt Challenge 2019 (entry deadline now closed). Winner will be announced on 28th May. The colors remind me of Summer. Pantone® Quilt Challenge 2019: progress

It's week 7 of the Photo Prompts for the Pantone® Quilt Challenge, hosted by Rebecca of Bryan House Quilts and Sarah of No Hats in the House. This week is Progress, so this is my nearly-completed large quilt top. See the coral fabrics? It may look confusing, but you will see it all come together soon. In addition to the focus color, Living Coral, there is also a focus theme inspiration. You can see hints of that if you look closely. So much fun! The small quilt (pillow cover) is finished, and the just-the-top quilt is getting there as well. Stay tuned to see more progress, as well as the completion of all three projects and their inspirations. See many more posts about this Challenge on this Instagram page: #pantonequilt2019.
