Back to Blogging in 2020
The other day, Wendy of: Ravenwood Whimzies wrote a post about blogging. She and I discussed that in the past few years a lot of bloggers have kinda left blogging by the wayside. Other social media outlets are fun and we'll stay with them, there does seem to be something special and more of a niche about blogging. Wouldn't it be great if we all tried to write more posts? With no minimal requirements, no "score to keep", just a conscious effort to try to blog more often. Not choosing one media outlet over another, simply remembering our blogs. Of course, life does get in the way and sometimes there is really no time. 'Just saying that it would be nice to see more blog friends back online as well as some new ones. A "call to bloggers", as Wendy said. Feel free to right-click and save the post button to use on your own blog, and write a post about blogging. What do you think about it?

Homestead Life fabric panels
Look at this bundle of Homestead Life panels that I won from: Tara Reed. The collection is designed by Tara, and manufactured by Riley Blake Designs. There are six panels, and they feature farm sayings and animals. Be sure to check back soon to see what I create with them. They are meant to be place mats, and Tara offers suggestions and instructions for making them into other items as well. 'Already working on these. With all of this rainy weather, it is definitely great sewing time. Blessings.

Message in a Bottle: revisited
Good morning! Happy 2020 to you all. Our weather is dry, but really cold. With no bright glaring sun, though, it is great photo conditions. A couple of months ago, my One Monthly Goal was to get this Message in a Bottle quilt top all quilted. That did not happen. So, now it is to be my first finish of the New Year. Looking closely, you can see my hand basting stitches and pins towards the left side of the quilt. Yes, that method does require some time, but it works so well for me. The strong thread can be removed and used on another quilt top. Be sure to visit the link party to see many other people's goals. Stay tuned to see this quilt all finished... soon.
