I guess I messed up my first comment! lol Growing up in Arkansas, we didn't get much snow but I remember the days we got a dusting or had ice on the roads, my Daddy would drive us to school. Those are some of my best memories. He drove a pick up truck and it seemed like it was COLD inside, not heated....but it felt so exciting to have Daddy drive us to school. The snow or ice outside the windows looked different from way up there in the seat of that old truck! Thanks, Danice! Sweet hugs, Diane

Love your giveaway Danice - please enter me. Gosh, it is really hard to remember back when I was a babe and saw snow for the first time. I just remember there always being a lot of snow when I was a kid. My birthday is Dec. 13 and I never much cared for having a birthday so close to Christmas. I had to wait all year for presents.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Wonderful giveaway, Danice! Thank you for a chance to win some of your handmades!
My first snow memory.... I don't remember how old I was, probably middle school. We drove up to Oakhurst, CA (by Yosemite) to a relative's house and there was snow on the ground. We played in it all day. We never got snow down where we lived in southern Cali (where I am now.)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh my that snowman is adorable! My first memory of snow is going down the lane from grandma's, there is a farm with a huge hill for sledding. Problem was you'd pick up speed and there was a creek at the bottom that wasn't always froze over so you had to remember to steer away or end up wet and have to go inside and miss the fun. I never ended up wet.LoL. Warm Blessings! Amy

What a fun giveaway. I love that snowman doll and quilt. Living in Wisconsin we always have lots of snow in winter. When I was in grade school there were high snowbanks at school and some of us kids would slide down them. We also built a snow fort. Happy Thanksgiving Danice! Becky

Hi Danice, you are so thoughtful with all of your giveaways! I love this one. I do not really remember the first time I saw snow because I live in Minnesota and well we always have it for quite a few months. LOL I do know that to this day I still LOVE the first snowfall of the year. It is so beautiful seeing everything covered in the beautiful white blanket.
Be blessed,
Cindi

Very festive giveaway! My first memory of snow? Wow! That's a tough one. I remember being five and the snow that fell that year was so high from the graders that you had to literally climb over the piles on the sides of the streets in my neighborhood. My kindergarten teacher would make sure that we all got started in the proper directions for home and my Mom would watch for me from the front gate, my plaid parka had a tassel on the hood and Mom would watch for that to come over the snowbank. Gosh, thanks Danice, I hadn't thought of that for a very long time.

What an awesome giveaway, Danice!
My first memory of snow is...playing outside and building snow forts with my older brothers and sisters. I come from a family of 11. And they are all much older. They would bundle us younger kids up and take us outside to play. So much fun. And after they would make us younger ones hot cocoa when we came inside.
