Earlier this year, I participated in the Stash Busting QAL at: Meadow Mist Designs. Life got in the way, and I was not able to sew for several months. It is made mostly of scraps, so that was nice to get to use those fabrics. Missed getting my quilt top entered in the Parade. Here is my quilt top. This is Looking Glass, the baby size. It is approx. 36 1/2" X 40". Hoping to be sewing and quilting again very soon. Will be visiting your blogs later today. I really have missed blogging, and am so happy to be back. Wishing you all a wonderful and happy rest of the week. Please continue reading for comments.

Quadrille: more fabric piecing
Still working on the Quadrille quilt along with Carole over at: From My Carolina Home. Here is the latest step. I am still so happy about stash busting some reproduction Civil War era scraps! Plus, this will be another nice little quilt to have. Best of both worlds, right? Wow, some { OK, most } of these fabrics are so old. Past wonderful collections for sure. Can you all see that the background fabric is a white on white floral print? Thanks to Carole for this nice quilt along, and for hosting the Stash Busters event as well. Welcome Spring quilt top
Good morning friends. This little quilt top is from the Welcome Spring quilt along going on over at: Heartspun Quilts. This pattern is wonderful for stash busting those reproduction Civil War Era fabrics. 'Still "auditioning" backing fabrics and am going to swap-out a couple of the squares for other color fabrics. It just bothers me if two fabrics alike or similiar are close to each other in the layout. Does that bother you? 'Will be finishing this one as soon as possible. The background is muslin, and deciding whether to age it. Would you, or not? It is not too late to join in on this fun event. Today is perfect sewing weather, as it has been raining a lot. Late last night the power went out for several hours, so no sewing then, lol. Continue reading for comments.

Plus, March is National Quilting Month. I am also busy completing a quilt for an upcoming blog hop. What are you working on this week? Continue reading for comments.
