Doll Quilt Swap: 2019

Recently, the 6th annual Doll Quilt Swap was hosted by: Lori of Humble Quilts Blog. 'Always so much fun! This is the adorable little quilt that Patty H. (no blog) sent to me. It is 19" square, and is in rich navy, burgundy and off-white Civil War reproduction fabrics. The work is superb! Patty also included a cute thread catcher. Her card is so pretty, it just had to be in the photo. Thank you so much Patty. We have already emailed each other as well. Humble Heart Swap 2019

Good morning friends. It sure is cold weather here. Brrr! These are the items from Amy's: Humble Heart Swap. The top photo is all of the darling goodies that Amy sent to me: little penguin, two red homespun heart tucks, and Amish-style corncob doll, green berry pin keep, and three sheep ornies. Aren't they all perfect? Thank you so much Amy, for these gifts and for hosting the swap. The lower photo is the goodies that I sent to Amy: black crow, little birdhouse with a heart door opening, dobby-covered journal, blue fabrics hearts pin keep, pink paper mache box with thread and a thimble inside, red patchwork heart tuck, cross-stitched prim pocket, and three prim clothes pins. What a fun swap, as always. Many of these items are already displayed in my house. Prim blessings, and stay warm in this weather.

Doll Quilt Swap 2018

Participated in the 5th annual Doll Quilt Swap hosted by:Lori of Humble Quilts Blog. This is the quilt that Bonnie (#dircomm41) made for me. It has a border with my favorite color, green. Spring Tidings Swap 2018

Good morning friends. Brr, it so cold here today! Hoping that warmer weather is soon to arrive. Finding the gifts above in the mail yesterday definitely warmed-up my spirits. Fabric Postcard Swap 2018: from Tiffany

Recently, I participated in a fabric postcard swap over at: Elm St. Quilts Blog. Here is the one that Tiffany sent to me. The clue was "green", and she has hit that right on point. So cute and well-made. Tiffany does not have a blog, but she is on Instagram. Since I am not, I cannot comment on Instagram, but have emailed her with thanks. Fabric Postcard Swap 2018

Recently I participated in a fabric postcard swap hosted by Patty at: Elm Street Quilts Blog. This was a new venture for me, making a postcard of fabric. How fun and cool is that? Pictured here is the one I made for my swap partner. Our recipients are a secret until the Swap is over. The clue for mine was "Spring", so one flower came to mind: a tulip. The back has a mock stamp and postage marks made with ink and two rubber stamps. 'Adding a message to the recipient before mailing. This swap was a lot of fun + educational. Mug Rug Swap 2017

Hello friends. Recently, I participated in a Mug Rug Swap hosted by: Barrister's Block. This is the mug rug that Anne sent to me (she does not have a blog). So cute, isn't it? Mug Mat Swap 2017

Recently I participated in the Mug Mat Swap hosted by Donna at: Brynwood Needleworks Blog. Pictured above is the adorable mat that my partner Jody sent. She does not have a blog, but is an excellent seamstress. 'Love that little butterfly, and if you look under it you will see that she even outline stitched a little design of the state of Tennessee. Farmhouse Summer Swap 2016

Good morning dear friends. Wow, summer is soon to be gone and autumn will arrive. 'Kinda lookign forward to the cooler weather here in the South. Goodness, it is so humid here. One of the wonderful events of this summer was the Farmhouse Summer Swap, hosted by Amy of: Bumblebee Lane Cottage. This year, Amy was my swap partner. Humble Quilts' Doll Quilt Swap 2016

Participated again this year in the Doll Quilt Swap hosted by Lori at Humble Quilts Blog. Pictured above is the adorable quilt that my partner: Cathy of: Big Lake Quilter , made for me. Christmas Swap 2015

Good evening all. Recently, I participated in the Christmas Swap at Bumblebee Lane Cottage again this year. My swap partner was Cindi of Cindi's Country Corner. Look at all of the goodies that Cindi sent to me! A big stuffed Santa star, a painted metal bucket with a snowman and "Happy Holidays" on it, 2 "Let It Snow" candy canes, a snowman pillow tick with a wire hanger, a little burlap Christmas tree, a wood "Let It Snow" plaque on a wire hanger, and a 10"X10" square framed "Welcome" artwork with an appliquéd snowman and painted decorations. Harvest Gatherings Swap 2015

Lookie what came in the mail yesterday! Swap goodies from Bumblebee Lane Cottage's annual Harvest Gatherings Swap. My swap partner was Debbie of: Barefoot Primitives Blog. Wow, Debbie really did spoil me. She sent: a darling raggedy doll, a muslin turkey, 2 muslin pumpkins, 2 wax potpourri cakes, some vintage milk caps, 3 ears of muslin corn, a bundle of cinnamon sticks, a bundle of little candles, a sewing notions doll on a vintage spool, 5 bowl filler pillows with sunflowers (1 has Hebrews 4:14 verse), a note card set with pretty bird graphics, an owls pin keep and 2 cakes of beeswax, a vintage baby frock, a blue note pad roll with a wooden writing pen, a rusty wire with ladybugs and sunflowers trimming, and 2 darling prim hang tags. Christmas In July Pin Keep Swap

Lookit what arrived in the mail today! This snowman is the darling pin keep that I received in Ravenwood Whimzies' Christmas In July Pin Keep Swap. He is mounted on a wooden spool. Also included are two vintage items: a red ticking napkin and red crocheted little cap, another pin keep in a vintage metal muffin cup (with buttons inside), and the adorable little mouse in a green homespun dress.
