Sunbonnet Sue row two!

Here is the lower square of the Sunbonnet Sue quilt for my granddaughter. That's now a total of two rows completed, which is fourteen squares. Some of the Sues wear sleeveless dresses, some have sleeves. Some Sues are wearing brown shoes while some are barefoot. This quilt is beginning to get a bit heavy now, lol. It really is so worth it all though. This is my first large quilting project. Do you all think that it is looking OK? To see another photo of this row, please continue reading.

Here is another view of row 2 on the Sunbonnet Sue quilt. 'Could not get the whole row in the photo. Now this project is starting to come together! Then I think of how it is not even half finished... what a labor of love it is though. Granddaughter Macey and her parents should love this quilt. What do you all think? The pattern is from an older book titledSunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt in a Day®, ©1992 by Eleanor Burns. Prim Autumn blessings.

It's beautiful my friend and will be a keepsake for your granddaughter. It's my very favorite quilt design. It would be nice in a small lap quilt to snuggle in when it's cold. You're doing a wonderful job choosing the colors. Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Diane
