Stars In A Time Warp quilt top completed

Good morning friends. Finally, pictured above is my completed quilt top for the 2015 Stars In A Time Warp QAL at: Civil War Quilts' Blog. Whew! This was a one-block-a-week QAL, and resulted in my having 63 blocks. 'Decided early on to arrange my blocks on point, which may have been a bit much for a beginner quilter. Never the less, this quilt top is now completed. The spacing fabric is a solid tan 100% cotton fabric. The size is 54"X 63". Hopefully, it will get quilted and the binding this year. What color binding would you use?
This QAL was really fun and educational. Who knew they had such a variety of fabrics and color dyes in the Civil War era? Indigoes, foulards, Turkey reds, chrome yellow, paisleys, stripes...To see the Flickr group with many other people's blocks, visit here: Flickr: Civil War Quilts.

So happy for you to get it all put together. You did great! Mine won't have all 63 types of Blocks. I just didn't find all the different fabrics. Thanks for sharing some of yours. A darker border would frame the whole quilt.

Hi, Danice. Oh the quilt is gorgeous. I love the depth of colors and you did so great.
I love quilting ( well I love sewing ). I love to take fabric and bring together that which brings warmth and a smile and a little love, and quilting is love. ( For the love of quilting never grows OLD.) God Bless.

Great job Danice. I'd choose, brown, dark green, burgundy or black for the binding. Thanks for sharing.
