My background machine stitching is cloud-shaped on the top area and meandering on mid area. The lower section, where the fish are, has wavy lines quilting. The batting for the main quilt is Warm N' Natural©, and the trapunto batting is a higher loft from another company. The crescent moon (an added appliqué) and the houses are the areas that are trapunto quilted. Most wholecloth quilts do not contain appliqués, so hoping this one appears to have been printed onto the fabric as the houses were. Can you see that they are raised?
The backing is pieced with solid navy and solid aqua cotton fabrics. The machine quilted stitching is done in matching thread colors. In the top two corners are pockets for a hanging rod. 'Decided that navy binding would be a good choice. Overall dimensions are 18.50" X 42.50". This is my very first attempt at wholecloth quilting as well as trapunto, and honestly it was very challenging and educational. Yes, it was also fun. Have you done any wholecloth or trapunto quilting?

You ARE brave to try trapunto! Beautiful job. I don't think I've ever seen this print in full before. It was the perfect piece for a wholecloth! Hopefully you will have it now to treasure. :)
Lol, thank you Jessica. Yes, Allegory Story is a gorgeous collection that is now OOP I believe.
