One Monthly Goal June 2018: finished

Can you believe that June is nearly past? Summer is here, for sure. This is my bed runner, a project that was supposed to have been started way back in 2015. The ones for family members were completed in 2015, but my own has waited. Finally, here is my bed runner, all finished. Please continue reading for more info, and for comments.

The pattern is simply two long braided borders alongside two solid brown borders, against a solid olive background. This is also my finished goal for Elm Street Quilts' June One Monthly Goal challenge. Here are the stats:

♦finished size: 34" X 56"

♦fabrics: Soho Chic collection by Sandy Gervais for Moda, solid olive and brown fabrics from my stash

♦backing: brown cotton

♦binding: same brown cotton as backing, faced by machine and hand

♦batting: Hobbs Heirloom® Natural 100% Cotton

♦machine quilting: walking foot horizontal lines

Thank you all so much. This bed runner was a long time getting finished, but so worth it all.
