Quilts needed: Carolina Hurricane Project

Carole of From My Carolina Home Blog is requesting that those who can please send completed quilts for Carolina hurricane victims and their families. The latest reports are that over 4,500 homes have been totally destroyed and more than 700,000 homes have sustained damage mainly by flooding. So, as you might guess, a large number of quilts is needed. Twin, full or queen size quilts are requested as the need is so great that each household can only receive one quilt. Bed-size is because if someone is starting over with nothing, they really need those sizes. Likely most people will not receive a quilt at all unless there is a huge response to this project. The project will continue through summer of 2019, so there is plenty of time to make and ship, or to drop off a quilt. You may read more about this effort at: Carolina Quilt Project Update.

Blessings, Danice G.
