Jelly Roll Waves: finished quilt

Finally finished my Jelly Roll Waves quilt. After Janice passed away, I just did not have the heart to sew or quilt for many weeks. Getting back in the groove now, slowly but surely. This was a really fun quilt-along, featuring a very nice pattern that includes multiple sizes. Even though it appears larger, this is the 40" square baby size. It was a perfect pattern to include a lot of green- my favorite color. Continue reading to see the back of this quilt, and for comments.

Thank you Myra of Busy Hands Quilts Blog for another awesome quilt along. Calling this one Pickle Waves, because that just seems like a cute name. Here are this quilt's stats:

♦ dimensions: 40" square

♦ fabrics: various 100% cotton fabrics and a jelly roll, from my stash

♦ backing: pieced- grey with grey tonal print, and green and navy jelly roll strips

♦ batting: Quilter's Dream Wool™ (won from Hands 2 Help 2019 Challenge!)

♦ quilting: machine-stitched with walking foot, uneven cross-hatch

♦ binding: solid grey, sewn by machine and hand

Thanks everyone. This quilt is now a favorite, lying on my olive green mid-century modern style chair.
