Little Green Apples Blog Hop

Welcome to the second day of the Little Green Apples Blog Hop, hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. Since green is my favorite color, this hop is a must for me. My project is this apples quilt. Actually, I do love the sour Granny Smith variety. 'Took a bit of creative liberty with the dark green ones. Keep reading for more info, to comment, and for a full list of all of the blog hoppers.

♦ fabrics: various 100% cotton fabrics from my stash (except the lighter green)

♦ backing: grey floral print cotton fabric

♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©

♦ quilting: machine-stitched free-motion in meander, with transparent thread

♦ binding: dark green with tiny white dots (also from my stash), machine and hand-stitched

  1. I love Granny Smith and don't think of them as sour, though they aren't sweet like Gala. This is a great showcasing of green and of apples!
