SAHRR more progress...

Have you ever decided, mid project, to redo a quilt block? The center block? Well, that is exactly what I have done. It seemed like my center Lady of the Lake block needed some more color. Now, the {former} background leaves print has been replaced with a solid julep green. That was not an easy task. Very pleased with the change though. The block needs a bit more tweaking, but I really like it much better now. What do you think about the redo decision?

My health is improving, slowly. The redo on this project is the 2nd time doing any sewing in 7-8 weeks. Getting back in the groove for sure. Blocks 5 and 6 are sewn, just awaiting to be added into the quilt. What are you working on currently?

Blessings, Danice G.

  1. Had to go back and look at your previous post...The revised block makes a big difference! Looks great. I don't think I've ever taken out a center block but I have removed fabric/blocks I didn't like - always worth the work.

  4. It is hard to make a change like that but good for you! It looks great and good to hear that you are healing, and see that you are back to sewing.
