Way back in January, my goals were: "to complete more WIP/UFO quilts and projects. Also in my plan is doing some hand quilting, something that I am not too good at. So, that will be a goal to improve upon. After several years, I am still trying to improve upon paper piecing. Thank you to all who take the time to post tutorials. I also plan on completing 2 instead of the usual 1 quilts for donation to people who are in need." Not quite all of those goals were met, though. Please continue reading for more {thank you}, and for comments.
2025 was riddled with health issues. Only 6 quilts were completed, all mini sizes. There were 2 new quilt tops completed (including a SAHRR), and many from 2023-2024 still unquilted. I did manage to complete 1 pinkeep, do some hand quilting, and a bit of paper piecing on a SAHRR. Completed 7 bowl cozies for Christmas gifts. Sadly, not even 1 quilt was completed for donation. This unmet goal troubles me the most. On a happier note, I did blog fairly often in the first quarter of 2025. Thank you all for staying with me in blogland. We all experience health and other issues from time to time- it is just the way life goes. There are usually good positive events in every year also. So thankful and blessed.
