How to schedule a blog post

image: bich tran | Pexels.com

Hello friends! Time for another html tip. Well, this is really a posting tip. Many of you may already be aware of this, but for those who are not here's a cool tip. When you make a new post, you can select Scheduled at under Post Options and fill-in a later date to publish your post. This way, if you are not able to be online on a certain day, Blogger will automatically publish that post at the scheduled date. After you write the post and fill-in a date, click Publish Post.

Blogger will then redirect to your Posts and have that scheduled at date highlighted and saved beside that post. Of course, you can change the date or even go ahead and Publish Post automatically by going back to the post and choosing the option. How cool is that?

Hi Danice,
I'm so glad you told people about this. I was going to put it in my seminar Blogging 101, but when I did it before, the next thing I knew, Blogger published the post immediately! How crazy is that? lol

Yes, make sure that you have filled-in a later date under "Scheduled at" in the correct format: m/d/year, or Blogger will publish immediately :)
