The above photo is of a bow tie that I made for my great-nephew Linus. Thank Heaven for little boys as well as for little girls. Linus' parents are Alabama Roll Tide® fans, so the 100% wool houndstooth is symbolic of that. The bow tie's closure is Velcro® to provide quick release in the case of snagging. Safety is always of utmost concern with children's clothing/accessories. Since hair bows wouldn't really be appropriate for Linus, a tutorial on You Tube helped me out with this.
