Made of 100% cotton and linen fabrics, this dress is a favorite. The tiny floral print fabric has deep luscious shades of sapphire blue, violet and cream on a pale yellow background. Too bad this fabric is not reorderable. The sleeve caps are made of small-sized blue and white gingham. As far as the construction, there is a back zipper fastener and the front chicken pocket(s), along with a lined round yoke. This view's sleeve caps are a bit complicated to sew, as the directions are not very clear on exactly how to attach them to the armscyes (arm hole edges) and then to the yoke. Adding the lined round yoke to the gathered skirt section is also a bit difficult, especially for those of us who have RA. There is a lot of gathering, plus the lined yoke and zipper fastener. My pattern difficulty rating is going to be:

Very pretty, Danice. I'm sure your granddaughter will love it. I've used this pattern several times but I've never had the patience to add the chicken details.
Your granddaughter is lucky little girl! The new dress is darling...
Have a wonderful week.
That is just adorable! No one else will have a dress as cute as this! Have fun with your sewing sweet friend! Hugs!
