Sis Boom Maddie dress

Good morning friends. Sunday was a wonderful day. Well, not weather-wise, but family-wise. Daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter came to visit. Woo hoo! We all had a grand time. Pictured above is one of the dresses this proud granny had to give to granddaughter. This dress is the Sis Boom Maddie dress. A white cotton fabric with an aqua Greek key print was used. My thinking was that it looks kinda "big girl" since my granddaughter is growing so fast. She will be 4 in June already. My, how time does fly. Please continue reading to see more.

Here is the matching head band for the Sis Boom Maddie dress. 'Added some fabric ruffling to kinda match the dress' ruffled bodice edging. Don't you just love that aqua color? This pattern is a fairly simple to sew pull-over with no fasteners. The bodice ruffling may be kinda new to beginner stitchers, as may the armyzche (arm hole) facings. Take your time, and you'll be OK.

Linking-up with: The Scientific Seamstress' Heat Wave/Frost Fever Party. Be sure to check out the link party, where a winner will be chosen at the end of June. This pattern gets a difficulty rating of:

Fairly Easy

Blessings, Danice G.
