Baby bib & burp cloth

Hello friends. Pictured above are 2 gifts for a friend's baby shower. The bib and the burp cloth are made of 100% cotton fabric with a tonal grey chevron print. Their backings are white terry cloth. Really modern and contemporary for today's baby. These were easily and quickly made. When my daughter was a baby, I just used a clean cloth diaper as a burp cloth. Times have surely changed, haven't they? (Some modern parents have never even seen a cloth diaper, lol!). These patterns are free, and you can get them and their accompanying tutorial at this website page: Two More Minutes. A good tip for sewing with terry cloth is to cut out the fashion fabric and place it right sides together onto a slightly larger rectangle of terry cloth. Sew and then cut out around the item. This way, the terry cloth won't stretch out of shape while being sewn. Don't you just love sewing for babies? Since these patterns are so simple, they earn a pattern difficulty rating of:
