Hands 2 Help 2017: my quilt progress

Good morning friends. Once again this year, I am participating in the annual Hands 2 Help charity quilt challenge hosted by Sarah at: Confessions of a Fabric Addict. This is my quilt top, so far. It is a scrappy strip design, with a while background. The completed quilt will measure approx. 48" X 51". Be sure to visit the link party to see many other participants' quilt progress. Happy Easter wishes to you all.

Pretty fabrics! I hope you'll share the finished quilt with us. Which of the three charities will you donate it to?

I've always liked this modern pattern... perfect for a jelly roll. What is your plan for the backing? I know it will keep someone very warm.

It's going to be a fun colorful quilt, I'll be watching to see the whole thing.

Thank you all. The backing is a cream on white floral print. Possibly a strip across the center back from one of the front fabrics :)

Your top is coming along really well. I can see that you will be finished with more than enough time... I, on the other hand, need to step up my cutting and piecing.

Lol, Bonnie. Thank you for the compliment. I actually should have finished this one a while ago. 'Got some done on it yesterday, but a lot more to go.

I like your colors. You are a "no-reply" so I came over to thank you for your kind comments on my blog.

Thanks for your comment Gene. Yeah, I am a "no reply" blogger for security reasons, not because I want to be unfriendly. There is an image link for my Email contact form. It is a shame that having mailto links and email addresses being public are not safe. Most people do not spam and hack, but that small percent who do (along with bots that crawl the internet looking for those links) are the danger. They are not interested in our blogs. Years ago, before being a "no reply", my inbox was constantly filled with spam and such. It is a shame that good people such as you have to deal with this. Thank you for coming and commenting.
