Three Purse Packs
Something new for me- sewing small Purse Packs. The pattern is by Patty at Elm Street Quilts Blog. One of these is for a gift, the other two are for me (lol). The grey one matches the Partial Solar Eclipse Trail Tote. The navy one with the colorful figures matches another purse that is still under construction. The lavender one is for a friend, and for it the pattern was made a bit longer. All have quilted exteriors, though the stitching is not very visible in the photograph.
Here are the insides of the Purse Packs. They each have two slip pockets with concealed Velcro® closures. The yellow one is the one with the grey exterior, the blue one with the fishes print is the one with the navy printed exterior, and the lavender one is the one with the lavender exterior. Be sure to visit Elm Street Quilts Blog to see many more bags in this year's Bag It event.

They are all so cute...especially the lavender one! I like small projects like this that work up fast. I love quilts but I'm always intimidated by how long it takes to make one! But one of these days....heehee! Enjoy your week! Hugs, Diane
Nice! This size is so handy for a short jaunt.
These are adorable. Janice
Thank you Diane. These are quick to make, you should try your hand at one.
Thanks Nancy. The size really is perfect. Even the lavender one (a bit longer) is still not too large to fit in a purse.
Thanks Janice. They were also easy and fast to make.
What fun purse packs...love them! What a fun thing to discover your blog!!!
Thank you Julie. I love making little crafts like these, in addition to quilting.
Those are very pretty, Danice - the fish lining print is particularly adorable :) I'll have to take a peek at Patty's site for the pattern :)
Thank you Sandra. That fishes fabric, as well as the navy print and lining print, are all from the Allegory Story collection by Carrie Bloomston.
Love making these Purse Packs! Thanks for sharing as part of Elm Street Quilts Bag It.
Thank you Patty. They are really fun to make.
