Word of the Year: 2019

post image: Cristina Abadia | Unsplash

The New Year will be here in about eight hours, and for 2019 my Word of the Year is going to be: resolute- determined in character, action, or ideas. This was also my word for the In Our Own Words quilt project that was completed this month. It is a beautiful quilt, created and made by Kim at Leland Avenue Studios, that features embroidered quilt blocks of words to describe women. Why not carry my word on into 2019? Happy New Year's Eve wishes to you all. 2019 is going to be awesome!

Word of the Year in 2018, finish, was thankfully met. Here is the grand total:
♥ Completed UFO & WIP quilts in 2018: 19 ♥

Blessings, Danice G.

Finding a word that means something to each of us is so personal. I think I also could have shared finish as my word for 2018, and likely resolute for this one. Stay the path, Danice, and here's to hoping the year is wonderful for you.
