All About Strings Blog Hop: Kite Strings

Welcome to: Creatin' in the Sticks' All About Strings Blog Hop! I am one of the people sharing today, and my project is a wall hanging quilt. The kite block pattern is from Hey Let's Make Stuff.com, and is free. Kite Strings is made-up of two foundation-pieced string kite blocks with an aqua blender fabric to represent the sky. The machine quilting is straight line walking foot, with Warm N' Natural© batting. Kite Strings measures 13" X 38". This was so much fun to make! Be sure to visit the Hop to see other people's creations this week.

Oh I really love your kite quilt. And this pincushion is wonderful. I was acutually looking at the picture before I read the words, thinking I would love to make one of these for a friend, and where would I find the pattern for it. LOL Thanks for sharing today.

What a cute idea for a little boy's room. Then take him to fly a kite so he will know what the design means. Thanks for the idea.
