H2H 2019: Giraffe quilt!

Here is my completed baby-sized quilt for the Hands 2 Help Comfort Quilt Challenge, hosted by Sarah of: Confessions of a Fabric Addict. This is an annual event where volunteers sew quilts for a charity of their choice. This quilt will be gifted to: Jack's Basket, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization concerned with babies who are affected by Down Syndrome. There will also be several fleece caps for the babies (to be posted soon) and some newborn pacifiers, per the organization's needs list. Here are this little quilt's stats:

♦finished size: 36" SQ

♦fabrics: 100% cotton flannels; giraffe print donated by my daughter

♦backing: solid yellow flannel cotton

♦binding: same giraffe flannel cotton as front, by hand and machine

♦batting: Warm N' Natural© 100% Cotton

♦machine quilting: walking foot straight lines

♥ Completed WIP/UFO quilts in 2019: 7 ♥
