I am sure I've seen this block before but it's amazing how the color choice makes it look so different. The center star done in one fabric looks completely different than the stars done in 2 colors. The finished piece is stellar. (sorry I couldn't help myself). Thanks for hopping with us.
I love star blocks and the ribbon star is a great block!
Beautiful stars! I really love the fresh colors and geometric quilting.
I love this star and it's simple, but beautiful look. I don't make a lot of stars, but this one really catches my interest...thanks for sharing!
Great project, I don't think I have ever made a ribbon star. Love your colors! Thanks so much for sharing!
Lovely and bright runner. I've made many star blocks, but I don't think I've tried this one.
Love this. The colors pop off the background and that is a love for me. Great block to love for sure. The quilting is perfect.
What a fun "star" block!
Lovely block - always fun to use HSTs to make an excellent block and a perfect tablerunner.
It is so amazing how color placement changes up a block. Loving all the stars today!

Great choice of blocks! I love star blocks, too, but I don't think I have ever made this one. Your table runner is beautiful!

I have a new appreciation for your block. That's a lovely table runner.
Thank you all so much. 'Wish the white-on-white hexagon print were more visible in the photos. There are free tutorials for the Ribbon Star block on: simplesimonandco.com , seasonedhomemaker.com, and freshlemonsquilts.com (to list a few). It is a fun and simple block to sew.
