#2020 Planning Party

Joining: Quilting JETGirl's 2020 Planning Party again this year. It is always so much fun, and interesting to read about everyone's plans. Here goes with my 2020 goals:

1. Keep completing all of those UFOs/WIPs quilt tops. Just couldn't resist starting new quilt tops. Too much temptation, right? Well that is OK, quilting and sewing are wonderful hobbies.

2. Keep meeting more local quilters. 'Did not get out-and-about too much in 2019 due to the broken foot and the grief over losing my twin sister.

3. Sew more charity quilt blocks and quilts, and more pillowcase dresses for charity.

4. Keep meeting new blogging quilters online and continue visiting your awesome blogs. I learn so much from you all!

5. Continue learning better paper piecing skills, as mine still need a lot of improvement...

6. Try to learn some new machine-quilting designs. 'Did not accomplish that one in 2019.

How about you? Have you made any plans yet? #2020PlanningParty

Danice, I like these goals. I need to add your #2 to my list. I tend to sit and quilt and forget to get out an meet others who quilt. I'm gonna work on that this year too.

Great goals, Danice. Not overwhelming, so you feel anxious, but manageable and providing a sense of accomplishment. So sorry for your loss.

I like this mix of goals, Danice! And it's nice to meet you - I love meeting other quilt bloggers too and connecting on Instagram (are you on IG?) Even if your paper piecing needs more work, it's miles ahead of people who've never tried it, so feel good about the progress you've already made. Joining a guild was one of the biggest blessings of my life to help me with some rough times I went/am going through and to learn more/be inspired about the art of quilting. Good luck making new connections and accomplishing your goals!

What great goals! Meeting other quilters, both online and in person, is such a joy and such an inspiration. Learning new skills is also always good.My paper piecing skills are nonexistent.

Thank you. Yes, I am on IG. The image link is just below the blog header. It's a pink rectangle.

I love that you have charity quilting right there in your goals! A quilter after my own heart. As for paper piecing, I'll just have to sit back and watch. My latest try turned out fine, but wasn't fun. Here's hoping it's fun for you, at least :)

You know, it's never occurred to me to try to meet real life quilters! It's such a solitary activity the thought never crossed my mind. Now I'm thinking I should add it as a goal myself. Good luck with your goals for 2020!
