Favorite finishes of 2024

Joining in on the: Best of 2024 Linky Party at Meadow Mist Designs. I have decided to post about my favorite finishes of 2024. Select the image to be directed to the post. Are you ready? Here are my top 5 favorite finishes of 2024 {in chronological order of dates posted, beginning in March}:

1. This is a tote bag that I made for a blog hop that was hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. It features the Martha Washington Star quilt block. It was truly fun! This post had the most comments of all 5 favorites, at 13. Please continue reading for more...
2. This is an ombré quilt that I made for a help program at my church. It went to a new mother and her new baby. One of my favorite quilts of all time.

3. The list would not be complete without including Gourdon the doll, a Sanker Studios pattern, designed by Brenda Jett Sanker. He is autumn decor, but gets to sit in my living room year 'round. He was my project for a blog hop that was hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. This post received 12 comments, the 2nd highest of all 5 favorites.

4. Here is the Homestead quilt from the 2024 quilt along at Humble Quilts Blog. Lori's quilts are remimiscient of the quilts of times long ago.

5. And, last but not least, is the Santa Surprise table runner from another blog hop that was hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt. The pattern is older, and it was difficult to even find the name and designer. After a lot of work, finally the searching was successful and I purchased the printed pattern.

Hope you enjoy my list of favorite posts of 2024. Be sure to visit the: Best of 2024 Linky Party to see everyone else's lists. Some are the posts with the most comments, the favorite tutorials, favorite finishes or other related lists. It is so interesting and fun to see all of the awesomeness that they all created in 2024.

Blessings, Danice G.

It's so fun to see your round up of favorite finishes this year! I love that tote bag - the star block makes a great design for it. And Gourdon is so cute - he looks like a fun project! Have a great coming year!
