Message in a Bottle: completed quilt!

Yes, after nearly two years, here is my completed Message in a Bottle quilt! This pattern is from the book Modern Plus Sign Quilts, authored by Cheryl Brickey and Paige Alexander. Too late for the prizes, but not too late to blog about. Please keep reading for more info, and comments.

Moving right along getting more quilting done, finally, after the recent tragic events our family has experienced. Quilting truly is a great therapy, plus it is educational and so much fun. Here are this quilt's stats:

♦ dimensions: 48" square

♦ fabrics: various 100% cotton fabrics from my stash- solid red, blue, and printed world map

♦ backing: same blue as front, with printed world map fabric pieced strip

♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©

♦ quilting: machine-stitched walking foot vertical straight lines, in off-white thread

♦ binding: same blue as front plus sign, machine and hand-stitched

♥ Completed WIP/UFO quilts in 2020: 7 ♥
