Very cute. Lovely design and fabrics. Thank you for sharing in the hop ... :) Pat
Your project reminds me of trips to the Gulf, something I'm looking forward to doing safely in the next year. Thanks for sharing. It brought a smile to my day.

A sweet summery quilted wall hanging. Love your vibrant batik fish. Yes, batiks lend themselves so well for vibrancy and stitching life into a textile image. Adding the starfish on the ocean floor is a perfect detail for the scene. I so long to visit the ocean again. One of my favorite places to be.
I love this piece. You're right about the batiks. They are doing a lot of the work.
My favorite is the little star fish resting on the sand. Just a perfect fit for this hop.
I love those kissing fish...sweet! The fabric colors and little starfish make this a beautiful piece for beach dreams. Thank you, Danice, for sharing!
cute kissy fish project
Oh I love it! You are so creative with your quilts and all the sewing you do!
Lovely piece. I like your use of walking foot quilting. I also LOVE batiks, so I might be a little biased :).
You capture the gulf well. My family and I visit the quiet area outside Panama City Beach every other year and this July we are going. Your mention of the Gulf makes me even more excited to finally get out of Ohio and see ocean waters again.
I like your colorful fishies! Thanks for sharing.
Lovely piece, I love the colors! Thanks so much for sharing!

These little guys are just too cute Danice!

You're so right that batik just screams beach!! I love your little quilt and the memories it evokes. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Danice your little kissing fish is so cute. It made me think of a long ago trip to Bermuda; clear bright water and brightly coloured fish. So much fun in the memories. Thank you for sharing. 😉 Carol

Cute little mini quilt, and you've captured the colors of the Gulf of Mexico well. I'll never forget the colors of that water!
