A look back at 2021

Although late, I am looking back at 2021. What a year that was. Cannot beieve it is already April 1st, can you? 'Did not get nearly as many quilts finished as planned, but thankful for what was completed. So sorry to have missed the #PlanningParty from Yvonne at Quilting JET Girl. Better late than never, in 2021 6 quilts were completed, 4 mug mats, 4 placemats, 2 pillows, 9 dolls, 8 wood crafts, 7 cards, 2 baby clothing items, 2 pin keeps, 1 purse, and finally 1 cake was baked.

My Word of the Year for 2022 is design (sidebar image: Rawpixel.com). Planning on attempting to design a quilt pattern- wish me luck lol. Also have already been designing some wall art and collages for the apartment. Painting a canvas acrylic wall art piece for my nephew and his wife, the first painting I have done in a long while. Did you choose a Word for 2022?

Blessings, Danice G.

Sometimes, life gets in the way of sewing and blogging. Love the light house on the calendar page! You completed lots of projects. Kudos!
