Primitive Checkerboard Quilt- completed!

This quilt was a UFO from 2021, titled Primitive Checkerboard. Designed by Nancy Moore, the pattern is in a book titled Quilt Lover's Gifts and published by Leisure Arts, Inc.® 2012. Nancy's quilt is made of homespun and flannel fabrics, but I chose 100% cottons from my stash. The quilt has already found a home on the couch for late night TV watching time. Continue reading for more info on this quilt.
Here is the back of the quilt. The fabric does appear to be mostly cotton with some polyester content. 'So old it is difficult to be sure. It was a really fun project to make, and one that I had been wanting to do for a few years. 'Got the book some years ago when a local fabric store went out of business (so sad). Here are the quilt's stats:

♦ dimensions: 39" square

♦ fabrics: various 100% cotton fabrics from my stash

♦ backing: dark green mostly cotton fabric

♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©

♦ quilting: machine-stitched walking foot diagonal lines, echo stitching and appliqué stitching | machine-stitched free-motion quilting loops design in outer borders

♦ binding: black 100% cotton fabric, machine and hand-stitched

♥ Completed WIP/UFO quilts in 2022: 7 ♥

Blessings, Danice G.
