The tote quilt block is echo stitched by machine with walking foot. The pattern calls for two shorter strap handles, but I made only one and made it longer. It is topstitched for added strength. The back of the tote features a large slip-style pocket, perfect for important papers or a device. The entire tote is backed with fusible Pellon® Decor-Bond 809®. The lining is made of an abstract blues print fabric. There is a handy inside pocket as well. A magnetic snap closure is on the top center.
