I did make my quilt a bit larger than the example, which finishes at 25" square and is inspired by an antique original. Before laundering, this one was approx. 35" square. Sewing smaller quilt blocks is kind of difficult for me. The pink background fabric is actually a tone on tone circles print, although from the photos it reads as a solid color. Sending thanks to Lori for hosting this fun and educational event. Here are this little quilt's stats:
♦ dimensions: 33 1/2" square {after washing and drying}
♦ fabrics: 100% cotton fabrics, mostly from my stash
♦ backing: 100% cotton dark brown fabric
♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©
♦ quilting: machine-stitched walking foot uneven lines
♦ binding: 100% cotton fabric, solid dark brown, machine and hand-stitched
Blessings, Danice G.
