This was such a fun quilt along. 'Learning to get better at sewing smaller quilt blocks for sure, which is a good thing. Some of these Civil war era reproduction fabrics are from my stash from up to 10 years ago. Here are this little quilt's stats:
♦ dimensions: 21" X 29" {before washing and drying}
♦ fabrics: 100% cotton fabrics, mostly Civil War era reproduction fabrics from my stash
♦ backing: 100% cotton cream-colored floral print fabric
♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©
♦ quilting: machine-stitched walking foot cross-hatch, and single line in the borders
♦ binding: 100% cotton fabric, dark brown leaves print, machine and hand-stitched

This one really is special! You are so talented my friend and I love the colors you use! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteAgree, you should change right away if you do not like something. Beautiful quilt. Janice
ReplyDeleteI agree, better to go ahead and make a change rather than regret not doing so forever. It turned out nice!
ReplyDeleteI liked the original version but I know what you mean if something doesn't feel right - I haven't finished my mini as I can't decide on any borders.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with making a change and having something you enjoy, rather than dealing with the regret later. It is a beautiful finish!
