Granddaughter's Easter dress 2016

This is the dress that I made for my granddaughter's Easter this year. 'Know how when you see a pattern that you absolutely adore and must sew? This pattern is one of those. It is Simplicity 1208A, and was actually simple to construct. That appliqued bunny is such a nice design element. The fabrics are 100% cotton. The back has three loops with buttons fasteners. 'Want to see a closer up view, and the matching head band? Follow the link below my signature.

How cute is that bunny applique, and those "rabbit ears" on the head band? Adorable pattern. Do you think granddaughter will love it? Due to the appliqueing and embroidering, this pattern's difficulty rating will be:

  1. This is the cutest dress, I can see why you were drawn to sew it.

  2. Well that just couldn't be cuter. I love the fabric you chose for the skirt of the dress, the applique is so sweet and the head band? Well icing on the cake. She will feel so special all dolled up for Easter. Your sewing is very professional. I enjoy visiting your blog

  3. Adorable dress for young one.
