The ones for family members were completed in 2015, but my own has waited. Finally, here is my bed runner, all finished. Please continue reading for more info, and for comments.

Ruffle-top dress ensemble

In about two weeks, my granddaughter will be seven years old. Yes, she is very fashion-forward and has won many beauty pageants. Keeping that in mind, these clothing items should please her perfectly. They are a deep magenta, and her favorite colorway is pink/purple. The off-shoulder ruffle dress is from a free pattern by Jamie at: Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. Please cintinue reading for more, and for comments.

Constellations pillow cover

'Remember the Constellations QAL that Mari at:The Academic Quilter Blog hosted in 2017? My block for May was too large for the quilt, so I just saved it to make a pillow cover after the quilt was finished. Here is the pillow. It measures 18" square, and the quilting is horizontal with the walking foot. Pillow covers are relatively easy to make, and are a wonderful way to decorate without spending too much money or requiring a lot of time. They can definitely change the mood of a room, can't they?

H2H 2018 prizes

Good evening everyone. Wow, a post from me after dark. Pictured above are the wonderful prizes that I won for participating in this year's: Hands 2 Help Charity Challenge. Look what Sarah sent: a pack of 6 quilting/sewing clips and a mini charm pack of Early Bird, designed by Kate Spain for Moda. Those clips will also work well for holding my finished quilts to the fence for photos. 'Much better than clothes pins, that are not sturdy enough to hold such weight. Thanking Sarah, and the sponsor who provided these prizes.

One Monthly Goal: June 2018

Good morning. June is here people. Soon it will be officially summer. Yay! To start my month, here is my One Monthly Goal project for June. This is a bed runner that has been in the UFO stack for about four years. Yes, that is a long time. It is a simple design, made of my favorite colors. The bed runners that I made for the family were completed way back in 2015. 'Time to get it quilted and binded. Stay tuned to see this one all finished (hopefully) in June.
