Here are some new dresses for my granddaughter's AG dolls. She now has four dolls, so granny has to sew so many outfits. These dresses went to her for her birthday back in June. The magenta dress is just like granddaughter's dress, so they can dress alike. Actually, I am now hooked on sewing doll clothes. It is so much fun. Do you ever sew doll clothes?

How fun! What a nice gramma you are!!! I remember my gramma making me different outfits for my Barbie. All my mom bought for me was her shoes and purses and I matched my clothing to that. Your granddaughter will remember this forever. Janice

These dolls are SUCH fun to sew for! There are so many patterns and even free patterns online. I have similar size dolls as the AG and have made lots of cute clothes...but not lately. I should start again! You've inspired me! Hugs!
I've sewn a few for her. She has so many AG dolls now, it would be difficult to make for all of them!! LOL These are really, really cute, Danice! Do you use patterns or just make your own as you go? We have cut out a dress, hat and purse for her dolls, but we have not sewn them yet. Her mom has had her on the go all summer and now school started back yesterday with fall activities coming! So, we will see when she will be ready to stitch again! She has made a few blankets for her dolls though - and a quilt top but not quilted yet!!
Thank you all so much. Some of them are from patterns (some are free patterns), some just made-up. Many of the girl's clothes patterns come with a matching 18" doll pattern. Yes, making the doll clothes is fun.
