Knot Swing dress

Good morning friends. 'Hope you all are having a nice week. We have a lot of rain, lol. A few months ago, I made this dress for my granddaughter. The main fabric had been in my stash for quite some time. The pattern is designed by Jessica at: Me Sew Crazy. This dress is a simple design, with the fastener being the knot tie at the nape of the back neck. Please contoinue reading for more, and for comments.

Here is the back of the Knot Swing dress. The pattern is so adorable, and is available in sizes 2 through 10. The pattern has an angled hemline, but I adapted it a bit to have a ruffled hemline instead. A matching head band with a big blue flower completes the look. Even though it has a full lining, this dress is not difficult to construct. The pattern difficulty rating will be:

Beginner

This is a sweet little dress and the fabrics are super fun. This pattern would also make a cute top to wear with jeans. Summer Rain has not visited us here in Northern California where it has been very hot this year. Smiles...<3

Thanks Sherry. Yes, the pattern also can be a shirt. So versatile. It is hot weather here in Alabama also :)
