Little blue doll quilt

Hello friends. Here is my first quilt for 2025. Actually, it was completed in December 2024, but didn't get posted in time. It also was not counted in Quilts Completed. This little doll quilt is designed by Kathleen Tracy, and was a challenge for the: Kathleen Tracy Facebook group. The title is Small and Simple #4. It is made mostly of my scrap Civil War era reproduction fabrics. Please continue reading for this quilt's stats, and for comments.

Another item that was made in 2024, but never got posted is the little Figgy Pudding pin keep in the photo. It is a free pattern from: Quilter's Candy Collection by Connecting Threads {designed by by Mari Martin and Sue Terpin}. Back to the little blue doll quilt, here are the stats:

♦ dimensions: 11" X 15" {before washing and drying}

♦ fabrics: 100% cotton Civil War era reproduction fabrics, mostly from my stash

♦ backing: 100% cotton solid navy fabric

♦ batting: Warm N' Natural©

♦ quilting: machine-stitched walking foot cross hatch with natural color thread

♦ binding: 100% cotton fabric, solid navy, machine and hand-stitched

♥ Completed WIP/UFO quilts in 2025: 1 ♥

Blessings, Danice G.
